We hope you can join us for the CTFC Annual Dinner and a Tribal Leader Listening Session on September 20, 2023 at Cafeteria 15L in Sacramento, CA. This celebratory dinner is centrally located to many other California Native American Day festivities happening in the State capitol that week! 

All are welcome to attend as we come together to celebrate this year’s successes. These successes include robust legislative efforts, the historic upholding of the Indian Child Welfare Act by the U.S. Supreme Court in a case known as Haaland v. Brackeen, having trained over 500 child welfare professionals, and so many more community-driven efforts to effect statewide systems change.

2nd Annual California American Indian Symposium on Developmental Disabilities | Sept. 21 @ 10:00 AM

Mark your calendars for the 2nd Annual California American Indian Symposium on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities! The theme of this year’s Symposium is ” Systems of Care for I/DD in Tribal Communities: Building Effective and Innovative Partnerships.” Participants can expect to learn about current partnerships with tribal leaders, organizations and regional centers to better serve California tribal peoples with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities.  

The hybrid event will be held at District56, 8230 Civic Center Drive, in Elk Grove, CA from 10:00AM – 5:00PM on September 21, 2023. A virtual Zoom option will be available as well.
