2nd Annual California American Indian Disability Symposium! (In-person and virtual)
Mark your calendars for the 2nd Annual California American Indian Symposium on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities! Co-hosted by the California Tribal Families Coalition and the Wilton Rancheria and made possible through funding from the California Department of Developmental Services, the San Diego Regional Center, the Far Northern Regional Center, and the Kern Regional Center, this one-day event is conveniently located near other important tribal advocacy events in Sacramento, CA including:
- – September 20: Annual Tribal Consultation Summit
- – September 20 @ 6pm: California Tribal Families Coalition’s Annual Dinner
- – September 21 @ 10am: 2nd Annual CA American Indian Symposium on I/DD
- – September 22 @ 10am: 56th Annual California Native American Day at the State Capitol
The theme of this year’s Symposium is ” Systems of Care for I/DD in Tribal Communities: Building Effective and Innovative Partnerships.” The hybrid event will be held at District56, 8230 Civic Center Drive, in Elk Grove, CA from 10:00AM – 5:00PM on September 21, 2023. Doors open at 9:00AM for registration. A virtual Zoom option will be available as well.
